Tip #2 – know your numbers!  Know your blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose, and A1C numbers. We also offer low cost lab tests for Thyroid TSH and Vitamin D levels.

Tip #3 – Support Your Immune System!  A quality multivitamin like Active Life Nutrient Capsules is a great place to start. Supporting your immune system with Vitamin D and Immunity Power are basic nutritional tools you can use to support your immune system.

Tip #4 Limit Exposure – or as we hear on the news, limit contacts!  Staying away from others who may be sick is important and we to explain how easy we can make that for you! Medicine Center Pharmacy offers our mobile app, curbside service, drive up window service and home delivery at your convenience.

Tip #5 – Follow the doctor’s directions!  If you are like me, you have the best intentions when it comes to following the doctors directions – but sometimes our memory plays tricks on us and we think we took our medicine – but did we?  Check out our Free Easy Dose Pack Service to simplify your medication organization.

Tip #6 – Manage your chronic conditions.  Whether its high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol or other conditions, managing them to stay in line with your physician’s recommendations is critical.  Check out our low cost lab test services and our low cost Easy Max Diabetes Kit.

Tip #7 – Education – you’ve heard the expression, knowledge is power.  Well its true when it comes to maintaining good health!  When it comes to pharmacy that means knowing what medications you take, what they look like, and what condition they are treating. Check out our recent and upcoming educational programs.

Tip #8 – Know your Pharmacist!  Do you know your pharmacist by name?  We think it is important to know our customers by name and develop a relationship so that you feel free to call anytime and ask for your pharmacist to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

Tip #9 – Make it affordable!  We all know health care and prescriptions can be expensive – but you may not know that sometimes we can help make it affordable. Check out our Loyalty Program or contact us at the pharmacy for a one on one consultation to review your medications.

You can catch the show on News-Talk 1480 WHBC or streaming live on Facebook each Friday at 9am EST. #cantonhealth #talkinghealth #COVID19Vaccine #medicinecenterpharmacy #healthmatters #ohio

There aren’t many topics more widely or hotly debated than receiving a Covid19 vaccination. A poll released last week showed that only 47% of Americans plan to get the vaccine. Those who didn’t want it mostly said they were concerned about side effects and the development and approval process, though the poll didn’t ask about many widely circulating myths. This morning we are fortunate to share this time and space with Jim Adams to set the record straight and talk about the facts and the myths surrounding the Covid-19 vaccine. We also want to thank Jim and the staff of the Canton City Public Health for vaccinating the staff of our Canton pharmacy. The process was efficient, professional and greatly appreciated. Thank you!
